LIFT YOUR FEAR

Luke 1:26-38

I. The Fear of the Unexpected.  v. 26-30

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

 II. The Fear of the Unprecedented. v. 31-33

There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.

Romans 3:11-12

“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 65:18-19

 III. The Fear of the Unlikely.  v. 34-38

“I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.” Job 42:2
