Prepositions of Peace

Romans 5:1-5

 

I. PEACE WITH GOD.  v. 1

 “Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other” Ps 85:8-10

 II. PEACE OF GOD.  v. 2-4

 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives…”

  John 14:27

 “I pray that out of his glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being.” Ephesians 3:16

 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you”

Philippians 4:6-9

 III. PEACE FOR GOD.  v. 5

 “Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about

  anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your

  requests to God” Philippians 4:5-6.

 “Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and

  humble.” I Peter 3:8
