Love Gone Right

Galatians 5:22-23 

I. Love is a God-Given Virtue.

“For love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows

  God.” I John 4:7

“But God showed His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ

  died for us.” Romans 5:8

Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and

with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like

it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39

 II. Love is of Great Value.

“If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well.” James 2:8.

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Ephesians 4:2

3. Security

4. Generous

5. Vulnerable

6. Power

7. Unconditional

8. Transformation

III. Love is a Verb.

“Let us not love with words or tongue, but with actions and truth” I John 3:18

1. Action

2. Sacrifice

3. Alert

4. Stubborn

“It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” I Corinthians 13:7

5. Focus

6. Moved

“But when Jesus saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd.” Matthew 9:36

7. Serving

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

John 13:34-35
