FAITHFUL

EPHESIANS 6:21-24

I. TO BE FAITHFUL WE MUST BE SELFLESS. v. 21

“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.” Proverbs 17:17

II. TO BE FAITHFUL WE MUST BE STEADFAST. v. 21

“Fight the good fight of faith.” I Timothy 6:12

III. TO BE FAITHFUL WE MUST BE SERIOUS. v. 22

1.Perseverance

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny

himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." For whoever desires to save his life will

lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” Matthew 16:24-25
2. Patience

“Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the

Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!” Isaiah 30:18

3. Progress:

“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But

we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being

transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the

Lord.” II Corinthians 3:17-18

IV. TO BE FAITHFUL WE MUST BE SENSITIVE. v. 22
